Etsy Shop Feature- tastelessdesigns

December 6, 2014 by Katie Smith 1 Comment

This weeks etsy shop feature is Tasteless Designs by Manda Sims. I saw Manda’s work while at the Funky Finds holiday show and loved the pretty colors of her fibers! I’m super happy to feature her etsy shop on Indie Crafts!
Here’s a little bit about Manda and Tastless Designs from her about page: “Tasteless Designs started off as my craft business that I brought to anime conventions. I started up a Cosplay Hospital where I tailored and mended costuming and props while selling off whatever craft captured me at the time. Currently, I am focusing on the crafting side of my business more and am moving more into mainstream shows to showcase my handmade gifts. You can catch a little of everything I do here: knitting, crochet, beading, collage, yarn spinning, and dying. Everything here is professionally constructed with love and handmade from start to finish.”

Because I LOVE supporting other Indie Artists I’ve decided to start featuring etsy shops weekly, so please send yours in here to Indie Crafts and I might feature it!

So glad to see Manda get some coverage…she is awesome! I purchased some gorgeous multi-colored yarn & a friend is graciously crocheting me some fingerless mittens. Can’t wait to see the finished product!

Independent Crafters Information

On the Indie Crafts section of CraftGossip I like to support other indie artists by posting tips about running a handmade business, blogging and other helpful information. Once a week I try to feature handmade shops to showcase their work. I also like to share trendy, popular DIY's that I think are amazing and hope you do as well. If you are an Independent Artist or want to start a handmade business, this is the place to find resources. Or if you just love DIY's and everything crafty I hope you'll find some fun projects to make and be inspired by the artists I feature!
