Recycling Skateboards into Mosaic Tiles

I’ve seen some pretty impressive skateboard art, but this has to be my favorite skateboard recycling project. HiConsumption recently profiled Art of Board, a company that reclaims broken skateboards and creates tiles from them. Recycling old boards is not only sustainable, but it creates a truly one of a kind piece–each tile is different. Who knew something so undeniably urban could create something so undeniably urban chic? These folks, apparently. What about you?
