Museums have long been heralded as a place to receive artistic inspiration, so what the Amon Carter Museum has done is simply a logical continuation in my book. The museum is offering an exciting opportunity to learn, be inspired, and create at the same time with their Crafting from the Collection program. Guests are treated to a tour, a demonstration by megan klein designs, a craft project, and a chance to socialize and enjoy refreshments. What more could you ask for? (Well, other museums offering a similar program…but give it time and it’ll catch on.) Nearby Texans should definitely check it out.
