I have soft spot for Rhode Island since I spent (possibly misspent) my youthful summers there. I wish I had had my act together enough to get myself in to Rhode Island School of Design. Alas! In another life, me thinks!
Craftland is a ongoing holiday craft extravaganza – from December 5-24th! That’ a LONG craft fair. I so so so want to go to this! Next year maybe! People in RI need spats, eh?
Craftland is an annual retail craft show in a unique consignment store format in downcity Providence, RI. The shop has featured eclectic arts and crafts from artists near and far (Australia!). Participants are selected through a jurying process.
Started in 2002 by a couple of crafty friends, Craftland originally hosted the work of about 50 artists in a 600 square foot space and has grown to feature over 150 artists in 2500 square feet.
Craftland features a fantastic assortment of fine craft and handmade kitsch. Discover fresh and funky gifts for the home, your uncle, the wardrobe, the kids, and even yourself! New treats like holiday ornaments, felted jewelry, handmade neckties, cozy knit wear, silk screened stationery, one of a kind wearables, ceramic dishware, original prints & paintings, pet toys, fresh comic books, DIY kits, unique stuffed animals, oodles of stocking stuffers, and so very much more.
