How To Make Money Knitting

October 5, 2019 by Shellie Wilson Leave a Comment

Maybe you have been knitting for years and finally want to start selling or maybe you have a bigger yarn buying addiction than your wallet can afford and now you need to reap back some of those costs? Well, this video shows you 6 ways you can make money from selling your knitting.

We wanted to include some of our own top tips too. We suggest not knitting just anything but find a Niche. Choose a knitting niche and focus on a few speciality items for instance scarfs or knitted totes. What is popular in your area? what does other knitting business’es in your area sell? What don’t they sell? Why aren’t they selling them?  Do your research!

What is going to make you stand out from everyone else in the Handmade business? Do you do something unique? different? maybe you only use special yarns? maybe you only make knitted items for boys? babies? goats? who knows. Find your market. I mean is there lots of goat owners in your area?

If you are looking for more tips on starting a handmade knitting business or craft booth check out Knit With Hannahs other video on top tips for selling your knitting for money.
