Hash tags can make a huge different in self promotion when it comes to online handmade business’s. Creatingbeautifully.com has put together a list of 80 popular hashtags for instagram and other social media forums.

Whilst it is suggested to spread your wings and hashtag outside of your niche to draw in numbers, I believe it is far more important to have engaged numbers who actually fit your niche. Don’t hash tag nude art if your pictures are only landscapes, as then you are bringing in people who are not going to engage with likes and comments as they content is not what they were seeking.
