Hey New Yorker’s, this one is for you!  The Etsy.com NY Team will return to Chelsea Market to host its ninth annual Holiday Handmade Cavalcade with a selection of handmade goods, including jewelry, greeting cards, art, beauty products, clothing, sweet items for baby, and more from over 50 indie vendors based in the tri-state area.

Here is more about the event:

This year’s week-long event – the first in the team’s history – will take place daily from 10am to 7:30pm December 5th through December 11th. Last year, more than 20,000 attendees visited the market to buy great gifts they would have been hard-pressed to find anywhere else!

The first 100 shoppers on both Saturday and Sunday will go home with one of our coveted swag bags, full of products, discount coupons, and other fun surprises from our vendors and sponsors. With every purchase, shoppers will receive a raffle ticket and a chance to win handmade prizes made by the talented vendors and makers of the Etsy NY Team.
A photo booth and a Sip ‘n’ Shop sponsored by the Brooklyn Brewery on Thursday December 8th from 6:30 to 9pm. will make for stress-free holiday shopping!

This year’s cavalcade charitable partner will be Animal Care Centers of NYC, an organization that rescues, cares for, and finds new homes for animals. Donation boxes will be set up during the Holiday Handmade Cavalcade to accept cat or dog food, pet toys, pet beds, fleece blankets, and towels.

The HHC will have an extraordinary range of vendors and handmade items for sale, perfect for Christmas shopping!

Handmade Holiday Cavalcade vendors proudly support various charities such as The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Covenant House Mother and Child Center (to help homeless young mothers and children secure a brighter, more stable future), Camp Sunshine (a retreat for children with life threatening illnesses), Montessori schools, The Bowery mission, Habitat for Humanity, Felicity House (dedicated to the success and creativity of women with autism), Urban Utopia Wildlife Rehabilitation, Animal Care Centers of NYC, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, City Harvest, Planned Parenthood, Ethical Metalsmiths, The Wounded Warrior Project and Autism Speaks.
