Apply to the Grand Central Terminal Holiday Fair

May 22, by Katie Smith. Leave a Comment

While Grand Central Terminal, in New York, is one of the nations most historical landmarks, it has remained the busiest train station in the country. Today, people from all over come to visit, shop and take a public tour of Grand Central Terminal. There is still time to apply to sell you handmade products at their holiday fair this year!

The annual Grand Central Terminal Holiday Fair offers artisans an extraordinary opportunity to showcase their one-of-a-kind creations to the more than 1 million shoppers who visit Grand Central Terminal each day of the Holiday Fair.

The online vendor application must be submitted no later than June 8 and should include a minimum of four color photographs of products you intend to sell as well as one image of a previously merchandised booth. Selected vendors will be notified by July 5. Artisans in recent Grand Central Holiday Fairs not only have sold high volumes of product, but also have landed high-profile wholesale accounts with major retailers, sold pieces to museums, broadened their retail client bases, and have been profiled on local and national TV.

The focus of the Holiday Fair is on locally made and American-made merchandise. Each year, products include artwork, clothing for all ages, men’s/women’s accessories, children’s clothing/toys, and home goods.

If you’ve been looking to grow your handmade business, and do bigger shows, this is for you!
