Here is a really inspiring and interesting article by Menucha on the Moms and Crafters blog all about “Craft Fails” and why you shouldn’t try for perfection. She says:
“Do you struggle with crafting because the results don’t live up to the standards you see? Do you feel like your crafts simply don’t come out “good enough”.
For me, crafting has always been about stepping aside from the crowd. Crafting is a safe spot – where you don’t need to be perfect. You just need to create. So, don’t be afraid to deviate and to make something imperfect. Make it so that you truly love it. Celebrate any “fail” as a part of your learning process. And then go ahead and create another beautiful thing.”
