Have you attended a craft trade show, like CHA (Craft and Hobby Association)? I’ve been to CHA and it is definitely a blast and very informative for the business side of the indie craft world.
Vikki, The Creative Goddess, wrote a post on the Creative Income blog about just this, with some reasons about why you/your business should attend a trade show.
She says: “Trade shows and conferences are held for every major industry and companies large and small attend both as vendors and as show goers. It can be expensive, especially if you have a booth, the venues are often hot and crowded and the food isn’t all that great. Yet, attending a trade show or two could be important for your creative business.”
