Carolyn is demonstrating Tulip Tie Dye on her blog, Homework, but not in the traditional sense. When you think of tie dye, you think fun t-shirts with spirals of bright colors. Carolyn used Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye which is America’s favorite tie dye, to create fashionable scarves in a watercolor effect.
I have used Tulip’s One-Step dye and it is super easy to work with! You don’t have to soak your fabric or shirt in anything, it really is one step! You just add the dye in whatever pattern you want. I love Carolyn’s technique.
