Small Bunny Crochet Pattern

Materials:

  • 3.5 mm crochet hook
  • Worsted weight yarn in your desired bunny color (white or brown)
  • Small amount of contrasting yarn for nose and eyes
  • Fiberfill stuffing
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors

Abbreviations:

  • ch: chain
  • st(s): stitch(es)
  • sc: single crochet
  • inc: increase (2 sc in same st)
  • dec: decrease (sc 2 sts together)
  • sl st: slip stitch

Instructions:

Head and Body: Start with a magic ring Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring Round 2: inc in each st around (12 sts) Round 3: sc, inc repeat around (18 sts) Round 4: sc 2, inc repeat around (24 sts) Round 5: sc 3, inc repeat around (30 sts) Round 6-9: sc around (30 sts) Round 10: sc 3, dec repeat around (24 sts) Round 11: sc 2, dec repeat around (18 sts) Start stuffing Round 12: sc, dec repeat around (12 sts) Round 13: dec around (6 sts) Fasten off and weave in the end.

Ears (make two): Round 1: 4 sc in magic ring Round 2: inc in each st around (8 sts) Round 3-4: sc around (8 sts) Round 5: sc 2, dec repeat around (6 sts) Round 6: dec, sc 2, dec (4 sts) Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Assembly:

  • Sew the ears to the head, making sure they are centered and secure.
  • With the contrasting yarn, embroider a small nose and two eyes on the face.
  • Stuff the head and body firmly with fiberfill stuffing.
  • Sew the body to the head, making sure the bunny is sitting upright.

Your crochet bunny rabbit is now complete! This small bunny makes a great addition to any Easter basket or a cute gift for any animal lover
