7 Creative Things To Do With Rocks

Handmade Charlotte has put together a rock collection with a difference.

Rocks are fascinating little things that are abundant in nature, and they come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and colors. They’re not only fun to collect and admire but also can be used for various purposes, such as DIY crafts. Handmade Charlotte has curated a collection of rock crafts that takes the humble rock to the next level. These creative projects offer a fresh perspective on how to incorporate rocks into your daily life and home decor.

The first project is a set of quirky little rock cacti. These cute and colorful cacti are made by painting small rocks with bright colors and adding some spines using toothpicks. They are perfect for adding a pop of color to any desk or windowsill. Another project on the list is a rock clock, which is a simple yet elegant DIY project that can be done with a smooth rock, clock mechanism, and a bit of creativity.

For those who love to keep a little piece of nature with them at all times, there’s a tutorial on how to make rock necklaces. These necklaces are made by drilling a small hole in the rock and stringing it onto a necklace chain. They make perfect keepsakes from a special outdoor adventure.

If you’re looking for something to do with the kids, Handmade Charlotte has a few projects that are perfect for children, including rock caterpillars and rock monsters. Both of these projects are easy to make and require only a few materials. Children will love getting creative and transforming rocks into their own unique creations.

There’s a project that is both functional and beautiful, a set of rock photo holders. These holders are made by gluing a rock onto a wooden base and adding a wire to hold a photo or memo. They make perfect little accents for your home or office and are a great way to display your favorite memories.

This collection of rock crafts from Handmade Charlotte offers a unique and creative way to incorporate rocks into your daily life. Whether you’re looking for a fun project to do with the kids or a stylish home decor accent, there’s something for everyone on this list. So, next time you’re out in nature, don’t forget to collect a few rocks and let your imagination run wild!

We highly recommend using paint pens when working with rocks, they have a fine point and are far easier to draw with.

Lovely ideas for decorating pebbles but shouldn’t be encouraging people to collect them whilst out. Maybe if more were left on our beaches we’d have better defences against the weather.
