Summer’s almost over where I’m at, but there’s still time for a few more trips to the beach. And while you’re there, you could pick up some driftwood to create your own wall art, like Creative in Chicago did. Her driftwood seahorse is a perfect compliment to the light walls, and I imagine it will provide a wonderful summery feel the year through. Personally, I love how well the shape of the seahorse works with the wood, but you could chose a different sea creature if you so chose. Maybe an octopus or a dolphin as a gift for a friend or a smaller version as a ornament. Get the tutorial here and try it for yourself!
