Alicia’s Ink – Fashion Me Purdy

I love when indie crafters and artists build upon the traditional to create something fabulous and modern. Alicia’s Ink is the work of a First Nations artist, who creates “customized native designs on modern clothing, shoes, and  accessories,” according to her Facebook page. Her work is absolutely stunning, utilizing the beautiful designs to create masterpieces like these shoes. Her work so wholly meshes the traditional with the new, it feels as if these items were created to display these designs.
