I had a moment of sheer excitement when I got an email about the Night Owl Market in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. And then I realized it was occurring two weeks before I would be in that area. Regardless of my disappointment, I’ve got to say this looks like a blast. Marketed as “a fusion of craft fair, community event, block party and small business mixer, all strung together in benefit of the non-profit Flagler Civic Association’s newest project: a community garden,” it’s got all the right elements to be a fabulous event. And you all should know by now that nothing makes me happier than fellow indie crafters supporting good, eco-friendly causes. So, if you’re lucky enough to be in the area at the right time, head over and rub elbows with awesome indie crafters, local musicians, gypsies, and unicorns.
