One of the more obscure side effects of Pinterest in my opinion, is the way in which older posts become viral and new all over again. For instance, while cruising my favorite boards, I spotted this post on how to create your very own steampunk ray gun, from Epbot, one of my favorite blogs. Not sure how I missed it, but once I saw it, I knew I had to share with everyone. I mean, could you pass up the opportunity to learn how to make your own ray gun? And not just any ray gun, but a beautiful glass and brass steampunk ray gun? I’m gonna assume the answer is no. So what do you think? Should older posts stay buried? Or are you in favor of the treasure hunt that is digging through archives to find old internet gems?
