The Fort Point Arts Community 12th Annual Fort Point Art Walk is coming up! And for all you lucky people out there in the Boston area, you can visit the studios of 75 different artists, interacting and shopping with artists who produce the work instead of gallery owners and workers. If that’s not enough though, FPAC is also presenting Heidi Kayser’s: The Remodeling Project, an art performance taking place on a floating platform. Kayser seeks to explore “ideas of public versus private activities in daily life, shared ideas of home, and boundaries between social and personal identities” by creating ever-changing mini sets on the platform, like the one featured above. I’d like to see an arts and crafts set! Get details about the art walk here, or check out more about Kayser’s project here.
