Have you ever said to yourself, “What I need now is a tiny paper cake shop?” No? How about a miniscule paper sushi bar? Maybe you will after taking a look at the adorable printed paper constructions offered here by Sanwa Co. You’ll need a web translator or more than my single year of Japanese to understand the website, but the downloadable instructions are illustrated for easy paper crafting. A great project for dreary afternoons that could use some brightening! (Or for anyone who saw The Secret World of Arrietty recently.)

I love these!! I’ve wanted a dollhouse since I was a little girl. I’m all grown up and haven’t bought one yet – maybe I’ll make my own paper village instead 🙂
