1 hour velveteen skirt

Anna Maria Horner Velveteens are on sale at Fabric.com right now. They are still pricey but they all reminded me of various skirts I had in high school and I was coveting them! I bought a few yards and will most likely make a simple skirt. Here is a tutorial from Suppose Quilt Boutique for a super basic elastic waistband skirt with the velveteens. It looks too bulky around the waist for me so I will probably just make another Amy Butler Barcelona skirt. But it is a good tutorial if you want to whip something up quickly.
