My ideal summer dress challenge

I’m going to join Faye, of Fay’s Sewing Adventures, in her My Ideal Summer Dress sewing challenge!

Mine needs to be cotton lawn or gauze, I want the back or sides to be smocked, a defined waist and a full skirt, gathered probably.

I realized that I really have very little to wear that I have sewn myself. This must be fixed!
