Custom shift dresses made with lovely vintage fabrics.
Love these ladies!

Wear The Shift is a Pittsburgh, Pa.-based startup making custom shift-style dresses. Working from their studio in East Liberty, co-founders Megan Dietz and Kelly Metzler use equal parts geekiness and craftiness to bring these gorgeous, one-of-a-kind creations to market.

How does it work? Dietz and Metzler have developed an algorithm that makes it simple to create a custom pattern for each client, based on a series of measurements. Each dress is then sewn by local craftspeople from the client’s choice of vintage or eco-friendly fabrics, which range from elegant to casual to funky. The result is a beautifully made, custom fit, completely unique dress.
