Giveaway time! – Off the Needles – A 2011 Knitting Pinup Calendar

December 15, 2010 by Minnie 18 Comments

Hello All! I’m very excited about this giveaway! We all need calendars and probably we all need calendars of frisky ladies in skimpy outfits but we DEFINITELY need 2011 calendars with frisky ladies in skimpy outfits KNITTING. Amiright?

Here is what the creators have to say about the calendar:

We wanted to bring the sexy side of knitting to the world, so we made a calendar full of amazing knitters looking their pinup best. These knitters show the world that knitting can be sexy! They are all real knitters and real people in all shapes and sizes. Whatever you like, we’re got a pinup for you!

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post before Dec 22th 2010. Tell me you’re sexiest knitting fantasy. Or whatever! I’ll use a random number generator to choose the winner.

This calendar was produced with the help of Kickstarter.com.

If I had this calendar, I would tape it over my bed. Each night, I would ritually cleanse myself by exfoliating my body with Lopi, then rubbing myself down with softer and softer wools, until at last I was panting before it in a heap of baby alpaca and desire.

I would love to someday knit a beautiful vintage skirt something that made me look like I just stepped off a 1940’s movie.

I knitted a bikini way back when I was in high school. It was okay until you got out of the pool! The water kind of drug the bottoms down. Luckily I was aware and there was no major wardrobe malfunction!

My knitting fantasy is that everything I made turned out just right! ha ha

Can’t help noticing the cover model on the calendar is wearing something obviously crocheted, not knitted. A win for the hook, I think.
