Etsy has some beautiful ironing board covers. I need one right now so I am trying to decide which one to buy!
I considered making my own but really, I have too many other projects and would much rather give some money to another hard working crafter out there.
There are a ton of tutorials out there if you would rather use up some of that lovely stash fabric you have been sitting on. Take a look at these: U-Handbag has a nice tut with lovely pictures, makesomething.ca has a good slideshow with instructions, the tut on the purlbee has some awesome handdrawn illustrated instructions, and the stitchin’ chicken has a nice one as well.
Here are some of the pretty ones I have seen on Etsy. I like this red ironing board cover from Hestia’s Houseworks, compelled to craft has an adorable umbrella fabric on, and I like this sweetly old fashioned blue rose fabric from purrfiti’s shop.

Bad pic, but oh my god it’s gorgeous and I love it. Kind of splurged, but it’s the only retail thing I’ve bought in so long!
