There is a new web site called I Love to Create that is focused on crafts and is accessible to all ages.. They have featured artists, including Crafty Chica and Jennifer Perkins, craft of the month, message boards, and you can log in and upload pictures of your won crafty creations.
You can search for craft how-tos with a drop down form according to criteria like this: I am an indie crafter, looking for fabric crafts, with a valentines days theme.
It looks like a great resource for products and craft ideas.
