Calling All Crafters! Can you turn trash into gold?
Rock Paper Scissors Collective in Oakland, CA is looking for ingenious, eco-aware artists who use found materials and goods destined for the dumpster to submit their work to be juried for their Recycled Arts Exhibit in December 2008. They are looking for all forms of recycled art, and submissions will be judged on originality, creativity, and innovative use of objects.

In conjunction with this exhibit, RPSC is also looking for artists interested in teaching a Recycled Arts class during the month of December. They are open to all suggestions for classes and hope to offer a wide variety to encourage folks to use one of our most plentiful resources, our trash, to make functional items and beautiful works of art during the most insane consumer-driven time of year!
