Urban Fauna Studio Exclusive Giveaway and Discount For Indie Craft Gossip Readers!

Hello everyone! I have to thank Shellie for filling in this week. She encouraged me to share my exciting news with our loyal Craft Gossip readers….

I am excited to announce that my new brick and mortar store  Urban Fauna Studio is opening its doors in less then two days!  Urban Fauna Studio (USF) is the brick and mortar incarnation my fiber web shop Mary Jane’s Attic. UFS will sell Indie and green craft supplies and tools. The store offerings will focus on fiber arts such as spinning, knitting, felting and weaving with some paper craft supplies, instructional books, sewing projects and handmade gift items. UFS will also sell one of a kind handmade goods from popular indie artists! We will also offer a revolving series of arts and crafts workshops.

Urban Fauna Studio is opening August 30th 2008 and has lots of fun things to celebrate:

*We will have demos for Needle Felting, Weaving on Mini Looms, Spinning and Pom Pom Making. The schedule to be released on our mailing list and blog tomorrow.

*Goodie bags filled with samples and treats for the *first 75 paying customers! Our generous donors include: Interweave Press, Sublime Stitching, Vermont Organic Yarn Company, Monkey Sock Monkey, Red Sheep (an exclusive knit pattern written for UFS!), Fishcakes, Artgirlz, Girl On The Rocks and more!

    I would love to be entered in this Give Away. I’ve always wanted to try my hand at felting, but just know if I go to my husband with yet another craft I want to take up he might kill over, hehe.

    Fantastic! Everything looks so wonderful. I wish I lived near San Francisco so I could shop there. Alas, Florida is just a bit out of driving range. 😉 I love indie crafters, everything is so unique and beautiful. It’s a great way to support the “little guy”. My favorite (and only) way to shop for gifts. 🙂
