I wanted to take a moment to give a nod to our local retailers and indie galleries. While many of us crafters (myself included) would be happy to have direct sales sustain our businesses, it is the indie retailers who have an appreciation for our handmade products and potential to reach a larger customer base; that give us that extra support many of us need to survive in our modern economy. An example of such great retailers is Aesthetics Gallery. Their site reflects their devotion to true indie artists, great art and high quality. Their shop is only online at this point but their curation of exceptional handmade goods is evident!
On my wish list is:
1) The Orange Starlight Mint Ring…too cute for any wearer, young and old!
2) The Splashy Cocktail Umbrella Lamp by Heather Wells. I have seen these in person and they are just beautiful and so well made. Not to mention a great conversation piece!
3) The luxe Tiger Lily Necklace. I have a love of anything botanical in nature in this necklace fits the bill for a versatile accessory for casual and dressy outfits. The details in the petals are just gorgeous!
