Find-Sell Handmade

FIND|SELL Handmade is the brain-child of Kellee and Matthew Milner, owners of My Favorite Mirror. Having grown their own wholesale business from 3 accounts in December of 2005 to 100 by February of 2007, they have an understanding of what works, but more importantly, they understand what TOOLS would benefit anyone in their position; anyone who wants to spend their marketing dollar more wisely. Because the tool they sought did not yet exist, they decided to create this tool themselves which was FIND|SELL Handmade! Basically owners or buyers of shops simply fill out their easy-to-use form to get their complimentary listing in FIND|SELL Handmade. There’s absolutely NO cost to the business or artist/crafter to be included in either guide. FIND|SELL Handmade consists of two very useful guides.

The FIND Handmade edition is a comprehensive directory of shops, boutiques and galleries in the US and Canada that support independent artists and crafters by selling these companies’ small-run or limited production wares in their stores. Listings are arranged first by State or Province, then by city, then alphabetically. The SELL Handmade edition is the “must have” resource for makers of handmade and small-scale goods. In addition to the comprehensive directory of shops, this publication is complete with in-depth requirements for submitting products for consideration, readers will also discover all the necessary tools for building and growing their wholesale business.

Independent Crafters Information

On the Indie Crafts section of CraftGossip I like to support other indie artists by posting tips about running a handmade business, blogging and other helpful information. Once a week I try to feature handmade shops to showcase their work. I also like to share trendy, popular DIY's that I think are amazing and hope you do as well. If you are an Independent Artist or want to start a handmade business, this is the place to find resources. Or if you just love DIY's and everything crafty I hope you'll find some fun projects to make and be inspired by the artists I feature!
