I have already started collecting items for Christmas advent calendars and this year I decided I would make calendars for a few friends who could do with a little more Christmas love. We have shared some amazing advent calendars over the years from Yarn filled advent Calendars to our reviews on Lego advent calendars but this little gem is perfect!
It is made using Dollar Tree Supplies, a simple over-the-door storage hanger, and some sticker numbers, You could use your Cricut cutting machine if you are lucky enough to have one otherwise we found these jumbo adhesive numbers. Of course, a steady hand and a Sharpie pen will work too.
Fill each pocket with candy, small trinkets, or individually wrapped gifts! Such a fun way to make an inexpensive Advent pocket.
Some of these organizers are clear but don’t worry you can add pieces of colored paper or cut up Xmas cards to block off the view inside, simply cut the card to fit and slide it into the pocket.
