I am of the age when I remember Bob Ross being on T.V so I find it quite amusing that now he is so popular. I just had to goggle if he was still alive? Poor Bob has gone to the great heavens to paint the sky…
Do you know who I am talking about? If not, here are some Bob Ross facts.
Robert Norman Ross was an American painter, art instructor, and television host. He was the creator and host of The Joy of Painting, an instructional television program that aired from 1983 to 1994 on PBS in the United States. He died in 1995 so can’t even enjoy his new age fans.
He lost a bit of his left index finger in a carpentry accident but often hidden by his paint pallet.
Ross painted an estimated 30,000 Painting during the lifetime of the show. (That’s a lot of paint)
My 12-year-old daughter knows all about him thanks to TikTok, (no thanks really, I hate you TikTok).
So when she came to me asking for Bob Ross items for Christmas, I just knew I had to put together this collection of fun, funny and Bob Ross items that you can buy. Bob Ross has some life lessons to be told including his famous quote, about Happy Accidents and he inspires non-artists to pick up a brush.
Okay so back to the amazing list, I have compiled Bob Ross t-shirts, Bob Ross notebooks and of course I had to include art supplies, because I know that Bob, God rest his soul would love the thought that some of these 12-year-olds pick ing up a paint brush and being INSPIRED.
