On Saturday August 8th, Australia Zoo is bringing back its annual Great Garage Sale, but this time with a twist! At the special new twilight time of 3-7pm, this highly anticipated fundraiser will offer exciting market stalls, live entertainment, food and so much more – with all funds raised going directly to Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors, the charity started by Steve and Terri Irwin.
We are thrilled to announce that this year, even people who can’t make it to Australia Zoo’s Great Garage Sale can help us make a difference with wildlife conservation. Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin have proudly donated Steve’s much-loved Jet Ski for an eBay auction to help the event raise funds for the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, which has treated over 58,000 native animals to date. In celebration of the Australia Zoo Great Garage Sale, we are inviting people all over the world to register and bid on this iconic piece of Australian memorabilia!
Used regularly by Steve himself, this prized family possession has a wealth of memories attached to it. Steve used the Jet Ski to entertain Bindi and Robert on their croc trips in northern Queensland, and to head out into the ocean to rescue an injured animal. Now is your chance to make your own memories with this precious and adventure-fuelled item from the original Wildlife Warrior himself!
