Hey guys, today I want to tell you about a company and product I discovered while at the CHA convention back in January. I stopped by the Sandits booth to find out what a “sandit” was and talked a bit with them about the uses, they provided me with a few samples to experiment with!
First, What Are Sandits? (description taken from their site)
“SANDITS are the newest, easiest and most convenient way to sand, polish, smooth, and remove rust, paint, tarnish, or corrosion. SANDITS are disposable, and their unique shape and plastic stems lets you work in small and difficult to reach spaces ordinary sandpaper or files can’t. And, because we use marine-grade epoxy to secure our grits, SANDITS are great for marine use or in wet applications. SANDITS can be used on wood, metal, plastics – any place where you need sanding, shaping, smoothing or polishing.”
I’ve been using the samples I received in my crafting- sometimes you just have a curve, or a spot on your project that it is hard to get sand paper in, and the sandits have come in really handy! I’ve also given a few samples to my Dad, he saw them and said “wow, those are really cool!
As a crafter, I definitely recommend checking these handy little tools out! Visit the Sandits website here.
