Book Review- Imagine the Life You’d Love to Live, Then Live It.

January 3, 2015 by Katie Smith 1 Comment

Today I wanted to share with you this inspiring new book by Peg Conley, Imagine the Life You’d Love to Live, Then Live It. Peg is an artist (See her site here) who quit her day job. Here’s a little bit about Peg and her new book:

“Reading Peg Conley’s book, Imagine the Life You’d Love to Live, Then Live It, provides the opportunity to engage with your playful nature, challenge yourself to think differently and consider incorporating various practices into your daily routine that will bring about the peace and happiness we all long to experience.

With 52 chapters, there’s plenty of wisdom scattered throughout the pages. Her inspiring stories will help you reconnect with your own playful spirit. There’s a joie de vivre that leaps off the page as you read her encouraging words. Clearly Peg has been a student of many pop psychology books and teachings. She’s distilled her learnings and experiences into an easy read with bullet points that suggest actions steps one can take as they discover that it really is easy to Imagine the Life You’d Love to Live then Live It!”

I have to agree that Peg definitely challenges you in this book to be playful, to be creative, to be happy and to just be more.

While Peg doesn’t tell you how to quit your day job and become successful overnight(everyone has different measures of success, so I’m happy about this!), her book is full of creative prompts to be happier and how to decide what exactly it is you want to do with your life which in turn will help you to live the life you imagine.

I don’t have anything bad to say about this book (except for the lack of photos! I just like pictures.), It’s a great read, full of stories, funny or wise quotes, prompts and inspiration!

Thanks to Viva Editions for the review copy!
