Re:Make is a 2 day conference and festival in San Francisco hosted by Brit + Co on September 12th & 13th. Here’s a little bit about the event from the Re:Make site-
Calling all inventors, tinkerers, DIY-ers, and thinkers! We’re dreaming up two epic days with more 3D printers, confetti, and LED fun than you can imagine.
Re:Make is a playground that inspires creativity and celebrates the artists, hackers, inventors and anyone with the DoItYourself (DIY) spirit that embodies the Maker Movement. The event marries the technology and lifestyle communities, gathering key players that impact this maker marketplace.
As Brit + Co’s flagship event, Re:Make San Francisco will spotlight the channels and tools that transform creativity into passions, and passions into businesses. Shaped in no small part by the Internet of Things, the future of production and commerce is now in the hands of a tribe of local, small-scale, quality-over-quantity makers who have grown into a movement of equal parts beauty and utility.Re:Make will bring together the pieces of the puzzle that collectively empower an evolving Maker Movement. The first day will host an intimate conference with enlightened discussions and projects from thought leaders. The second day kicks off a free, family-friendly festival that brings DIY content and commerce to life in bright, colorful ways. Come to make, shop, learn and explore.
