So I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but DIY typography dishes are all over the place right now. This one above is from Eclectically Vintage, and one of my personal favorites, as it features lyrics to your favorite songs all around the edge of the plate. (What a great gift for the music lover in your life!) But there are loads of different tutorials flying around the net for those who are looking for something a little different. And they’re all super-duper easy. Most utilize a ceramic marker and an oven, a process that’s so easy even kids (with adult supervision) can do this.
Check out these other tutorials for more inspiration:
DIY Monogram Mugs – Design Mom
Or skip the DIY and buy from some great Etsy sellers:
Mr. Darcy Proposal Mug – Brookish
Poison and Antidote Mugs – Burke & Hare Co
Either way, enjoy!

I love the typography on that dish! I’m looking for a perfect gift. Do you have any other creative ideas for the wording to use for a baby shower? One other great site for typography gifts is http://www.etsy.com/shop/PersonalGraphix
Cheers!
