I’ve tried felting before, both wet felting and needle felting, and as such, I can’t even imagine creating works of art like Tanya Aguiñiga. She covers all sorts of stuff in felt, like these found chairs. She’s also covered rocks and created some fabulous modern furniture and fun accessories. I especially love the tagline for her furniture–“Softening Industrial Impermanence”. What a fabulous indie idea! Using traditional techniques to take the edge off of modern convenience, without losing the feel of original piece is quite a feat. Check out Droll Girl’s feature (where I spotted this art) and then spend some time on Tanya’s site.
