This tutorial is by Miyako Kanamori and takes an ordinary knit glove and turns it into the cutest little chipmunk softie you ever did see. And she does it in a reasonable number of steps with simple extras like some pipe cleaner and extra thread.

This is simply so cute that it makes me want to run to the thrift shop to find wool gloves! Great find!
