Craftin’ Outlaws is an annual ‘alternative’ craft fair held in Columbus, Ohio. The first event, held in 2005 featured 50 fabulous and original DIY ers selling their hip handmade wares to a steady stream of customers who were looking to purchase that one-of-a-kind gift for themselves or a loved one. These aren’t your granny’s crafts, sure people might be using the same methods and techniques that have been used for years but they are also putting an urban or ironic twist to it. Check out the vendors to get an idea.
It is being held from noon until 7p on August 16, 2008 at BoMA (Bar of Modern Art) located at 583 East Broad Street in downtown Columbus, OH. BoMA is housed in a historic church which has turned into a fine dining restaurant, art gallery, and night club. Within this smoke-free venue, vendors will be setup throughout the main floor “sanctuary” of the building for your shopping delight, full bar open all day serving your beverage of choice, and tasty treats offered by our food vendors.
It is FREE ADMISSION and open to ALL AGES, so come and bring your friends and family. The first 100 people through the door will receive a free tote bag full of cool stuff!
