Bazaar Bizarre began in 2001 in the Boston-area as a hodge-podge of friends and acquaintances cobbling together their handcrafted DIY wares to sell and staging an offbeat entertainment extravaganza. The Bazaars in Boston, Cleveland, Los Angeles and San Francisco happen every year during peak holiday shopping season in December. This year the Bazaar Bizarre San Francisco holiday show will take place from 11 am to 6pm at the County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco on December 15th 2007. It will feature 85 independent crafters from the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. A DJ will provide entertainment, craft workshops will offer new skills and food from local shops and bakeries will be available. This will also serve as a community building opportunity for designers, businesses and their patrons.
