Decorating for Thanksgiving? Check out this fabulous tutorial for a faux galvanized cake stand over at Ode to Inspiration. This would be perfect for a traditional or rustic looking set up, either on a table holding a cake (with a plate between food and stand for safety) or in a decorative milieu like the one shown above. The faux galvanizing technique comes from Blissfully Ever After, and is as quick and simple as you could hope for. (Only four steps!) And the cake stand itself is built out of bargain and dollar store items!
