I know that i used sponge stamps at a very young age because i remember my mom saying NOOO, Too much paint!!!!

My earliest printing memories were potato and sponge stamping as well. Oh how I remember my sponge-stamped oversized t-shirt dresses I wore so proudly…haha!

I recall being very little and doing vegetable prints, and particularly witnessing how if you cut an apple cross-wise, you will find a star “inside” and then making prints with it. That one always wows the little ones (and the big ones too

I think my earliest memory of making prints , sort of set the mould for my future. My mum was an artist and used to paint in oils. i was about 16 months old and managed to get my hands on one of mums paintings before it was dry and i left beautiful multicoloured hand prints all round the rooom,

The first print I ever made was using a plain white potato into which we carved a simple design and dipped it into paint then onto paper. This was in 3rd grade, I believe.

While I’m sure I did the classic potato and sponge printing … My first memory of printing is probably lino-printing in high school
