Recycled Crayons
April 24, 2008 |
I love the idea of reusing all those old crayons after you’ve colored away their use down to a 1 inch stub. In the spirit of green crafts you can melt and pour those pretties into something new. I recently did a children’s art class where we made these fun recycled crayons:

Check this tutorial or this tutorial so you can find out how to make your own.
Don’t have the time or extra crayons? You can always buy a couple of these on Etsy. How about some cute little duckie crayons from Ivylanedesigns. If that’s too cute than grab a bunch of these Altered Colored Art Cryons by Missing6. These art crayons contain anywhere from 6 to as many as 25 different colors in each crayon.

What a great idea for the little one and adults too!
I love this idea what a great way to get the full use of the those crayons lying in the bottom of the cupboard. Gone are the days of constantly buying new crayons and just imagine all the cool shapes you could make.
OMFG, rubber ducky crayons, my friend would flip the F out! she’s obsessed.
